# Proxy Location Offset

If your buildable needs a slight adjustment after the `Trace Behaviour` has been executed, you can set the `Proxy Location Offset` to something other than `0,0,0`. This ensures the buildable is positioned correctly. In our example content, we use this to place our foundation buildables closer to the ground rather than the mesh's origin point.
